Natural Headache Remedies

Headache relief can be an ever-changing task. Everyone has their own brand of remedy and what works for them. The best thing to do is to listen to your own body and understand what remedies best suit your needs. 1. Peppermint Oil

Peppermint Oil not only offers a pleasant smell but can relieve tension when rubbed into the temples. You can massage into your hairline (that massage does some good as well!) to relieve tension and create a cooling effect.

2. Ginger

Fresh Ginger is a great remedy for headaches, especially tension. Ginger naturally reduces swelling. This is a great remedy for not just headaches but other swelling ailments.

3. Capsaicin Cream

Capsaicin Cream helps to block pain signals to the brain and when used properly can reduce the pain signals being sent to the brain from the source: allergic reactions and stimulation in the brain.

4. Hot Shower

Taking a very hot shower will cause the blood to release from your brain and work towards other extremities in your body. Keep the heat away from your head and some of the tension will reduce.

5. Chiropractic Work

Chiropractic work can lead you to a lifetime of better posture, nutrition, and lifestyle changes that can release headache causes.
