Who Benefits From The Flu Shot?

The more information that is released about the flu vaccine, the more people begin to realize how ineffective it is. In this segment of our vaccine discussion, we’ll narrow down who truly benefits from this approach to health care. There are many sources of information we found while researching this post, and we’ve included that research– click on the red hyperlinks to read further.

Kids?

Ummmm, no, not so much. Young children (6 months-5 years) are one of the groups with the highest risk for complications from adverse reactions to the vaccine because their immune systems are still developing as they are exposed to more and more in this world. The Cochrane Collaboration released a study comparing the results of children that get either the flu vaccine OR a placebo, and found no evidence to support that using a flu vaccine worked at all. It’s estimated that by the time a child reaches 6 years old, they will have had 48 doses of 14 vaccines! EW!

Teens/Young Adults?

Definitely not. This age group is actually the most likely to suffer from adverse reactions as they’re adjusting to natural hormonal shifts and astronomical stress levels. In fact, when Swine Flu or H1N1 was causing a scare, there was a sharp increase in Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) directly linked to the vaccine, and sure enough, during theH1N1 scare in 2009, the same thing happened. One teen ended up in a wheelchair!

Pregnant/Nursing Women?

Really. No. There are many links to pregnant women receiving flu vaccinations resulting in miscarriages, birth defects, and lifelong illnesses for their children.

Middle Aged Adults?

Nope. The largest age demographic will still only be protected from the previous year’s strains, and out of the hundreds of strains that exist, 3 are chosen annually based on what strains were most prevalent the previous season and what experts think will occur in the current season. Their best bet is to keep their immune system functioning naturally by removing interference and making sure that the right information is getting to the right places.

Seniors?

Whoa, nelly! No! When Swine flu broke out in the 1970s, there was a huge push for vaccines, and wouldn’t you know it, a staggaring rise in the number of cases of autoimmune diseases and mental disease, such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, MS, and more. Seniors respond much more to amping up their intake of Vitamin D.

Soooo, It Looks Like The Only People That Benefit From The Flu Vaccine Are…

… the people who make and distribute the vaccine! Annual profits for these companies are in the $20 billion range globally, $1 billion of that in the US. Since you’re just as likely to a.) contract the flu and b.) develop complications from the flu virus by getting the vaccine or not getting the vaccine, the only ones profiting from this smorgasbord of ingredients is the pharmaceutical companies.
