Dr. Ranae Beard grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota participating in 4-H activities, horseback riding, gymnastics and cheerleading. Dr. Ranae attended the University of South Dakota, where she received her pre-requisites needed to get into chiropractic school. While a student at USD, Ranae was a cheerleader for men's basketball and football teams and a member of the diving team. She then graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1999, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and her Bachelors Degree in Human Sciences. While at chiropractic school, she fell in love with playing soccer and continues to play multiple times a week on a co-ed team.
After graduating from chiropractic school, Dr Ranae moved to Fort Collins where she started her practice. She continues her education and knowledge in the field of chiropractic, having completed many post-graduate studies emphasizing the treatment and rehabilitation of headaches, whiplash, pregnancy and pediatric. Dr. Ranae believes in the incredible healing power of the body and feels that chiropractic can help each person perform at their optimal potential. She also believes it is important for kids to get their spines checked and adjusted (if needed) early in life.
Dr. Beard uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and help you make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments needed to optimize your conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Beard is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
